Israel Hernandez, an employee at MIA skate shop in Miami was killed by a taser gun, used by police.

The sad news resonated in the skateboard community as FL skaters come to grips with this tragic event. It is not clear what happened or who is to blame but a South Florida newspaper of Broward and Miami-Dade County is stating the facts of the incident on their website. You can read all about it on the New Times newspaper‘s website.

Our prayers go out to the victim’s family and we are considering how we can help raise awareness of this sad issue in hopes of educating our young, talented, and ambitious skate community.
