A skate park in the middle of Palm Bay Florida is not suppose to host some of the best skate contests in Florida. But Graffiti Skate Zone does not succumb to small town expectations in the skating world. When they held their most recent For the Love of Skateboarding local sk8 contest, contestants skated their hearts out, especially during the BEST TRICK part of the event. And Blake Kovarik nailed it and took home first place prize money.
Yup we said money, for all you flow ridin skaters in FL, get your board and skate on to GSZ for their next contest and win some prize denaro! Over $500 was won by skaters throughout the day, with Kovarik winning the lions share of it.
Competition was steep and its going to get tougher as GSZ field of contestants continues to grow.
